QUIET CORNER REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT

Our church is one of many area faith communities participating in Quiet Corner Refugee Resettlement, helping refugee families find new life, safety, and hope in northeastern Connecticut. QCRR works with Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (IRIS) to welcome and sponsor families, both by volunteering and through donations. Members of our congregation can be involved in QCRR in a variety of ways, including donating needed funds, providing rides to appointments, offering informal English language instruction, helping to set up their home, assisting in finding employment opportunities, translating, working on fundraising, and so on.
