SCC Community Groups
Community Groups are intentional gatherings of eight to twelve people who meet regularly to encourage and support one another in their spiritual journey.
These small gatherings provide an environment where you can experience authentic community, where both burdens and resources can be shared and Gospel values are lived out. These are groups of families, students, retirees or cross-generational gatherings. Some meet for a potluck meal, over Zoom or in our church building. Groups meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The structure and timing is entirely a matter of choice. If you would like help connecting, please reach out to the church office.

Community Prayer Drop In
Sundays 12pm after SCC church service
Join us each Sunday after service at 12:00pm for 15 minutes of prayer for our local, state, national and world leaders. Prayer guide sheets will be provided. We will meet in the sanctuary near the door to the right of the stage. If you have questions, please contact Anne Halbert via email.
God tells us in Isaiah 56:7 “…my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” And 1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
If you would like to host or lead a community group, please reach out using the form below, or email the church office.
