Gift Bags for the No-Freeze Shelter
Every year our congregation fills gift bags for the guests at the No Freeze Shelter so they have something to open on Christmas morning.
Below is a list of items recommended by the shelter staff as being particularly needed and appreciated by their guests. Have fun filling your bag and please return the filled bag to church no later than Wednesday, December 20th.
Socks (preferable not white)
Facecloths
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Reusable water bottle
Cough drops
Body soap (liquid, not bars)
Deodorant
Hair ties
Lotion
Shampoo/Conditioner (regular size bottles)
Razors
Body-wipes
Chapstick
Gift Cards (DD, Mc D, Subway)
Snacks (granola bars, chips, goldfish etc.)
Gift bags, ready and waiting to be filled, are available at the back of the sanctuary!
Children's Ministry Advent Service Project: Winter Wear Drive
This year’s Children's Ministry Advent Service Project is supporting Coventry Grammar School (CGS). Now through December 17th, we are collecting new (or gently used!) winter wear:
Snow boots: Size 13.5 - 3
Snow pants: Size 4-5, 5-6, 6-6x, 6X-7, or 7-8
Sweatpants: Size 5, 6 and 7
Leggings: Size 5, 6 and 7
Winter hats and gloves
Note: If purchasing, please choose gender neutral items.
All donations can be placed in the marked bin in the lobby.
Adopt-A-Family Gift Tree
We are providing gifts for an extended family of 10 this year! Gift tags can be found on the Adopt-A-Family Gift Tree in the lobby.
Here's how you can help:
1. Choose a gift tag(s) from the Gift Tree.
2. Write your name and contact info on the gift sign up sheet.
3. Go shopping!
All gifts must be returned, wrapped and ready, for delivery by December 17th.
