2023 SCC Women's Retreat: Let Nothing Be Wasted

  • Storrs Commmunity Church 90 Tolland Turnpike Coventry, CT, 06084 United States (map)

Let Nothing Be Wasted

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” - John 6:12

You are invited to come apart for a day to a gathering among women to explore God’s surprising resourcefulness within your life. Through various means of engaging head, heart, and body, we journey into the Feeding of the 5,000 story to enjoy the abundance that can come from accepting and offering our limited selves to God and to each other.

SCC Women’s Retreat Girl’s Track - We are pleased to be able to offer a Girl's Track program to run parallel to the Women's Retreat for your daughter (or other female relative) grades 6-12. The girls will be joining the large group for activities that are appropriate for them, as well as for lunch and dinner. They will have break-out activities as their own group and these will be tailored just for them. The cost to register a participant for the Girl's Track is $35, but as always, please speak with one of the organizers if cost is a barrier. Please direct any questions to Elena Ampeire.

Lunch and dinner will be served.

Cost to attend is $50 for adults, $35 for students 6th-12th grade.

Note: Due to staffing at the Connri Lodge, we moved the retreat to SCC and changed to a one-day gathering.
