“I love that my church is actively seeking Christian unity-- even in our polarized culture. I worship every Sunday alongside conservatives, liberals and everything in between.”

- Verity K.

"SCC is a community brought together by a shared love of God and our neighbors, a desire to study and understand Scripture more fully and to learn how to be more like Jesus. It's a great place for people from a wide variety of backgrounds."

- Kurt E.-D.

Storrs Community Church is an interdenominational church committed to living authentically the Christian life. We focus on the essentials of faith that unite Christ’s followers.  We strive to be a congregation where you can explore the claims of Christ, experience grace, grow spiritually and live in community. We would love to come alongside you as we follow Christ together.

SCC FAQs

What does SCC believe?

Jesus is the definitive revelation of the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we have forgiveness and a restored relationship with God. Gratitude is our primary motivation for all we do as we express God's love and mercy in our everyday lives.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll see people in ties and dresses and others in hoodies and jeans. We are a multi-generational congregation and it shows!

Who attends SCC?

Couples, singles, families with kids and retirees from all walks of life. We are a family of professors, students, tradespeople, those between jobs, grandparents, immigrants, missionaries, new believers and children.
